KUTLESS CONCERT
This past Thursday we had an amazing concert here at Point of Grace! We had over 500 people attend the KUTLESS "Hearts of the Innocent" Tour. The lighting was incredible, the sound was UNBELIEVABLE loud, (I just heard, and I realized how old I sound) and everybody had a great time! We had a few setbacks with someone going overboard on usage of the hazer, but it aint a party unless the Fire Department shows up! It was really an amazing night! I was so tired afterwards that I think I slept for like 18 hours straight or something like that. The concert was with Kutless, Stellar Kart and Ever Stays Red.
They coolest thing about it all was that Ever Stays Red stuck around all weekend and we got to hang with them and they met our staff and even played for all three of our Student services this weekend! They are such an amazing group of people, both musically and spiritually. Their heart for Jesus and reaching student through good music is amazing and it was so much fun to have them be a part of our weekend experiences. The students totally went crazy when they walked into the Student Zone and saw the setup! They had three moving screens with video for all of their songs and our sound guys didnt have to do anything, Powerpoint or anything! It was amazing seeing our students worship in a new way like never before. Andy Stanley says that "anything new, by nature of new, will create momentum," and this weekend it sure did! It was so awesome to see the band really lead our students in worship. They are so humble and generous to stay and play for free, just because they love Jesus and love playing music! You have to check them out! Hear their music on Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/everstaysred
If you want a band that rocks and loves Jesus and humble serve Him, book Ever Stays Red for your next youth event! They are stinking amazing! Lets promote bands that know the real reason for playing music! This band is the real deal. They were total servants and were such a blast to have be a part of our weekend experiences! Rock On!
